I'm a portrait photographer but I have a passion for old barns. I've photographed many throughout Texas and when I'm not working with clients, I take road trips in search of more.
In 2014 I discovered the art of transferring photos onto wood and fell in love with the look. I thought it would be too cool to create something, other than just a piece of wood, to display my barn images on. So, I created the Photo Phlatt©. The phlatt is a miniature, lightweight 'pallet' that can be made in different sizes. The photo is transferred on to the phlatt then sealed with a matte finish to protect the image, then a sawtooth hanger is installed on the back so that they hang flush on the wall.
The Photo Phlatts© turned out so unique that clients began asking me to put their photos on them as well. It's such a rustic, vintage way to display your favorite photos and so different from your traditional photo frame.
Now fast forward to a couple years later...I now have a website dedicated to the Photo Phlatt© (www.photophlatts.com) and have created phlatts with photos from all over the United States and other parts of the world! As of 2017, I'm close to creating my 1000th phlatt!
Would you like to see what your photo would look like on a phlatt? Virtual proofs are always available BEFORE you order. Just email me your image, let me know what size you'd like to see it on (sizes and prices are available on the website) and I'll create a virtual proof for you, absolutely FREE, so that you can get an idea of how it will look.
All information for the Photo Phlatt© can now be found on the dedicated website: www.photophlatts.com. All orders must be placed there as well since they are no longer being accepted here on the Moore Photography website. Here's a link:
And as always, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or proof requests.
